Why I'm running for governor

The craziness in Raleigh these days is taking a toll on our democracy. Much of what is happening makes no sense at all.  Like giving a hundred million dollar bribe to a big insurance company.  Or firing teachers and raising pay for political insiders. Or making it harder for people to vote.

It doesn't take a genius to see we're off track, putting both freedom and fairness at risk.  But until we think more clearly about what we expect government to do – and not to do - we'll never get back on.

I’m not a professional politician, and I don't really want to be one. But I love this state and its people, and I can’t stand by and watch special interests, corporate welfare, and short-sighted thinking drag us down.

The people of North Carolina deserve better government. I volunteer to help, and I'm asking you to join me.

Jim, I go by USNA77 on BlueNC. My name is Kevin Brock, and I have lived in beautiful Haywood County since the fall of 1986. I am proud to help as I am able.
